December - Design and construction of a Giant Puppet for Jack & the Beanstalk at the Olympia theatre, Dublin

Bui Bolg were commissioned to create an alternative Artistic Festive Lighting Display for The Fingal County Council's Civic Offices made entirely out of Willow and Paper. It will be in place until the 7th January for public viewing.

Bui Bolg are creating a fabulous animatronic Giant for the Olympia's Christmas Panto Production of 'Jack and The Beanstalk' which runs from the 22nd December until 6th January 2008...

They are also busy creating an Abominable Snowman and an Aladdins lamp for the Wexford Pantomime Society's Production of 'Aladdin' which runs from the 7th until the 13th January 2008.

14th December - Gobsmacked Events host a private party in Killiney with some of Bui Bolg's stunning fire performers and drumming troupe.

16th December - Blackwater Lights Festival - This very unique community event will see Santa Clause literally flying through the small village of Blackwater accompanied by the Bui Bolg Youth Group...look out!!

6th January - The 150th anniversary of the construction of Wexford Twin Churches - Rowe St & Bride St takes place on Little Christmas. Bui Bolg have been specially commissioned to design The Three Wise Men in larger than life form to be present handing out gifts to all on this momentous occasion.

8th - 16th January 2008 - Bui Bolg's Artistic Director, Colm Lowney, has been asked to host Masterclasses in Puppetry with the Chingay Parade of Dreams in Singapore. This trip is generously supported by 'The Arts Council' of Ireland.
