Board of Directors

The various members of Buí Bolg’s Board of Directors provide professional advice to the company on a voluntary basis.

Karla Sanchez Zepeda O'Connell has worked as a curator, art historian, artist and grant manager in Mexico and the U.S.A. She is committed to the development and strengthening of the relationships between artists, art work and communities.

Helen Corish, a primary school teacher, former mayor of Wexford and former county councillor, has a keen interest in arts education, and has worked in the field of promoting environmental issues through education. Helen was also instrumental in creating an arts department in Wexford County Council.

Eamonn Hore is a senior executive engineer with Wexford County Council, and provides practical local knowledge to Festival Committees around the county, including the co-ordination of festivals such as Comoradh ’98, Tour de France, Fleadh Ceoil na hEireann and the Wexford Festival Opera. Eamonn also played an engineering role in the Wexford Festival Opera.

Annette Lowney has been a prominent local business person and a keen enterpreneur for the last 30 years, and offers advice to Buí Bolg in all areas of her expertise.

Arthur Robb has a background in operations and financial management. Arthur's experience as chief executive of a variety of manufacturing companies over the years proves invaluable through all areas of Buí Bolg.

Tom Mooney is a journalist and editor of The Echo Newspaper group. Toms interests range from World to Local affairs with a keen interest in the Arts and Development. Toms experience in Media and Public relations contribute greatly to the Buí Bolg Board.

Gráinne Millar graduated from TCD in 1994 with a BA Hons in Pure English and also holds a Diploma in Art Administration from UCD and Diploma in Applied Project Management, Irish Project Management Institute. She has been working with Temple Bar Cultural Trust since 1999 and in 2003 was appointed Head of Cultural Development to lead a new phase of growth for the company. She is Director of the Diversions Festival, Dublin Handel Festival and Dublin Culture Night. Prior to her employment at TBCT she worked at The Tyrone Guthrie Centre at Annaghmakerrig and Interarts Observatory in Barcelona.
